Mayrhofen Experience is offering affordable accommodation in the Austrian Alps for Summer and Winter holidays. The English run chalet holds a maximum of 10 guests, either on Bed & Breakfast or Half Board basis.

Haus Luxus is situated on the southern side of Mayrhofen, in the quiet area of Stillupklamm. The property has been built in the traditional Austrian style, with spacious balconies surrounding the building. There is a beautiful garden to relax in on warm summer evenings and a covered veranda, perfect for enjoying a glass of glühwein after a days skiing. The accommodation comprises of five comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped lounge and stylish dining room. There is also plenty of guest parking and storage space

The Guest House provides a wealth of rooms and amenities that will make your stay homely. This includes a stylish dining area with seating for up to 10 people. The room has double aspect windows, giving plently of natural light, a perfect environment to enjoy good company and excellent cuisine.

Relax in the cosy lounge after an active day. We offer facilities such as a TV & DVD player, with a selection of DVDs, Sky TV, a selection of board games and a playstation, supplied with a variety of games. You can also check your emails on our wireless network.

You can sleep at night safe in the knowledge knowing that your skis and snowboard equipment is safely stored in ski locker room. Give your equipment some tender loving care with a wax and a edge sharpen, using the service table provided.

Each floor has a bathroom with a W.C, a sink with a bath and/or shower. Complimentary toilettries are also provided in each of the bathrooms.

All the rooms come fully equiped with a TV & DVD player, CD player/radio, hairdryer, alarm clock and a Tea & Coffee Station. Each room also has a sink and a balcony with mountain views.

The first floor of the chalet contains 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has an Austrian Twin bed and Bunk Beds, holding a maximum of four guests. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and a sofa bed to hold a maximum of three guests. Bedroom 3 has an Austrian Twin bed, with the option of a campbed for a third person.

The second floor of the chalet also contains 3 bedrooms, each one holding two guests. Bedrooms 4 & 5 have two single beds, which can be seperated or pushed together to make a double bed, whereas Bedroom 6 contains an Austrian Twin bed.

The Zillertal and Mayrhofen provides a wide range of activities for all levels of experience. For those of you who prefer the Winter season, the Zillertal offers skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, or winter walks, with other activities, such as toboganning, sleigh rides, paragliding and Austrian skittles. The Summer season provides endless walking and mountain bike trails in beautiful mountain surrounding. Other activities available include rafting, paragliding, canyoning, rock climbing and countless excursions.

Pass through the village of Strass and you enter into the Ziller Valley. With majestic mountain peaks, high Alpine routes, hiking trails, stunning views and breathtaking vistas, this valley provides an endless joy throughout the whole year. Thirteen ski resorts are covered under one lift pass, and the Hintertux Glacier is open all year round. Explore these areas during the summer or winter, on skis or by foot. And don't forget to enjoy the unique experience of traditional customs and genuine hospitality

Meal times are a sociable event and we like to think of our evening meal as a dinner party for all our guests. Remember, strangers are just friends that you have not yet met!
