La Ferme à Jules is a beautiful converted farmhouse which was originally built in 1808. It sleeps up to 26 people in 10 spacious ensuite rooms and has a huge living and dining area surrounded by balconies from which you can enjoy the incredible views stretching down the valley. Despite its large size, it still feels cosy and comfortable with plenty of seating around the log fires.

Food is pretty much my biggest passion, even more so than snowboarding! I love cooking and spend a truly excessive amount of time planning menus and playing with recipes. This came from growing up in a family that was utterly obsessed with food and some of my happiest times have been spent sharing a meal with friends and family. So I take cooking for our guests seriously and aim to provide something really special. The food is a combination of modern and traditional dishes, inspired by food that I either grew up eating or have discovered since living in this region of France.

Food should always taste delicious, but it is also important to us to use good quality ingredients and so we use meat and eggs that are free-range and everything else is really fresh and locally sourced where possible.

La Ferme à Jules is situated in the pretty area known as Le Lavanchy which is located between Morzine, Montriond and the very fast Ardent telecabine.

6 minutes to the Ardent telecabine

• This is the quickest and easiest route onto the mountain. It takes you directly up to the Lindaret bowl which gives you direct access to amazing skiing in Avoriaz, Chatel, Mosettes....

5 minutes to Morzine or 3 minutes to Montriond

• This makes it quick and easy to visit the town to go shopping, have dinner or visit the bars. We offer a lift into town every evening after dinner for those wishing to carry on the party outside of the chalet. If you wish to stay out late then we can organize taxis home for you which will probably cost around 20 euros for an 8 seater minibus.

MORZINE

• Morzine is characterised by charming chalets, with not a high-rise in sight!


• It is a working mountain town, not just a ski resort so has bags of personality


• There are plenty of shops, boulangeries, patisseries and fromageries to browse


• You can find lots of restaurants serving great local Savoyard fare (fondue, tartiflette, etc..)


• It has a buzzing nightlife; pubs, clubs, winebars, live music, DJs, festivals etc..


• The Morzine Penguins Ice-hockey team play in France's top league every Wednesday!

AVORIAZ

• Avoriaz is Morzine's purpose built younger brother, sitting on the cliffs above at 1800m


• It has one of the best snow records in France (average of 8m per season)


• What it lacks in alpine charm, it makes up for with tons of skiing terrain - it is the best entry point to the 650km of linked pistes that make up the Portes du Soleil

• 15% discount. For children under 12 when travelling with a paying adult*.


• 30% discount. For children under 12 sharing a family room with their parents*.


• There is no supplementary cost for two adults occupying a family room.


• €150 flat rate. For children under the age of 2 when sleeping in a cot in an adult room.


• €100 discount. When a family room is occupied by 3 or 4 adults there will be a 100 euro discount for each person in the room.


• 50% supplementary charge. For single person occupancy.


• Exclusive use. If you are interested in booking the chalet or either of the two self contained halves then please contact us for a price.


• Private transfers. If you would like to book exclusive use of an 8-seater minibus to take you between the airport to the chalet then please contact us for a price.
