Chalet Clair Matin is spread over three floors with five bedrooms.

The first floor has the dining room and living area with a beautiful view across the valley. Three double or twin rooms one of which is en suite, a separate bathroom and two toilets.

The second floor comprises of two large rooms that can sleep up to four in each, two bathrooms and toilet. These rooms are ideal for families or friends sharing.

The ground floor has a luxury spa with hot tub, sauna and wet room shower.

We operate a non smoking policy within our chalet, however there is a balcony with ashtrays should you wish to smoke.

Skiing in Morzine

The picturesque village and resort of Morzine are set in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, the largest ski area in France with over 650km of marked pistes and around 250 lifts crossing the border between France and Switzerland.

Lift passes can be bought for either the local Morzine and Les Gets resorts or for the entire Portes du Soleil ski region. Ideal for beginners and those happy to relax on the slopes close to home and also for those of you looking to venture further a field and explore the pistes of Avoriaz and the surrounding areas.

For beginners or those of you keen to hone your snow skills we can help you arrange lessons with the excellent Ecole Ski du France (E.S.F) who offer a 'ski school' or private lessons for your group or one to one tuition.

For those looking to explore the vast areas of unmarked and off piste terrain around the Portes du Soleil area, we can help you arrange anything from an afternoon with a qualified local guide exploring the lesser known parts of the resorts, to a full day's heli-skiing or boarding on otherwise inaccessible slopes.

Never been Skiing or Snowboarding before?

No problem - we all have to start somewhere. We can help you book lessons, advise you about the gear you will need to buy or hire, support you in understanding the piste maps and even come out on the slopes with you to show you around.

We should however warn you that skiing and snowboarding are highly addictive and you may well leave Morzine endlessly daydreaming about the next time you will be able to hit the slopes!

Coming with a mixed ability group?

Again no problem. Our minibus is available to drop groups off at the Prodain or Ardent lifts that take you straight up to the slopes of Avoriaz and beyond, while the Pleney lift to Morzine and Les Gets area is only a four minute walk away. We can help suggest restaurants for lunch or meeting places and provide a full set of walkie talkies to help you keep in touch.
