Brand new traditional style wood chalet set in heart of pretty Alpine village, sleeps 10.

Chalet La Lune is a brand new traditional wood chalet which was completed in December 2003. Set in the heart of the pretty Alpine village of Essert Romand, 3 kilometres from the town of Morzine, it is perfect for those looking for spacious and luxurious skiing accommodation and is well suited to families.

The chalet has four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, as well as very generous living space with comfortable sofas and an open fire. It is available on a self-catering basis and includes a fully equipped kitchen. The chalet accommodates 10 people; two double rooms, one twin room and one room with two sets of bunk beds (four single beds). There are three bathrooms, one shower room and six toilets.



The chalet is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen including a large fridge/freezer, oven, hob microwave oven and dishwasher. There is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble drier. There is one television and a dvd player. A single internal garage space is also available.

The village of Essert Romand is quiet and idyllic. There is a traditional Savoyard restaurant a few minutes from the chalet and the town of Morzine has extensive shops, bars and restaurants. The chalet is a short drive (3km) away from the ski lifts.

Morzine is a superb area for winter sports being part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area which straddles both France and Switzerland. The Portes du Soleil includes 12 linked resorts, over 200 ski lifts and 270 slopes covering 650kms of slopes and all within a single ski pass.

Bed linen and towels are not provided. Hire of these can be arranged locally. Single duvets and pillows are provided on all the beds. All fuel costs are included in the price. Heating of the chalet is by electric underfloor heating. All wood for the fire is provided. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the chalet. Pets are not allowed.
