Restored farmhouse for up to 12 people in the Aosta Valley, Italy. Comfortable accommodation in a great location.

A restored farmhouse sleeping 10/12 situated on the main Pila/Aosta road just 5 minutes by car from the intermediary cable car stop or 10 minutes from the resort. The house provides comfortable, self- catering accommodation arranged over three floors with panoramic views from the terrace over the Aosta Valley. Ideal for 2/3 groups sharing as the ground and top floors have separate access and facilities.

The farmhouse is set in a sunny spot on the mountainside within its own private garden of apple and almond orchards and sun terrace. There is parking for up to 3cars with further parking available nearby.
There are electric heaters throughout and log burners for really cold evenings.

Ground Floor:
Open plan kitchen/dining area running full length of the building. Fully fitted and equipped kitchen area with 4 hot plates, microwave, fridge. Log burner. Long farmhouse dining table with seating for 12/16. Double sofa bed and folding single bed. Separate partitioned sleeping area with double bed. Shower room with shower and w.c.

External stairs leading to first floor.

First floor:
Entrance leading to living room with 1 double sofa bed. Fully fitted and equipped kitchen area with 4 hot plates and fridge. TV and video player. Log burner. Dining table for 6.

Small hall leading to:
Central bathroom with full size bath and shower attachment and w.c. Bedroom with twin beds.
Spiral stairway from hall leading to: Small, under- the- eaves bedroom with set of full size bunks and single bed. Ensuite w.c, basin and bidet.

Night life - is relaxed and informal. The ancient town of Aosta, 15 minutes drive down the valley, offers a selection of excellent restaurants, bars and elegant shops, the perfect place for any non -skiers in the party to idle the day away. Closer at hand the bars and restaurants in both Pila and the village just below the chalet offer a very warm welcome and a chance to mix with the locals.

The Skiing - Pila 2000 (1,800m –2752m) is a gem of a resort - friendly, inexpensive and overlooked by the hoards it`s ideal for families. It has 70 kms of mainly intermediate runs plus a good selection of off-piste challenges and an excellent snow record. The Aosta Valley lift pass covers a day in the nearby resorts of Courmayaur, Cervinia/Zermatt, La Thuile/ La Rosiere, Monterosa.

Getting there - One hour`s drive from either Turin or Geneva airport serviced by Eujet, Ryanair, Easyjet. If driving, an hour from the Mont Blanc tunnel.

Prices include heating and electricity but logs are extra. Duvets and pillows are provided but guests must provide own bed linen and towels. Rental service available.
