Leaseback France : French Leasebacks Scheme

As part of the French Government's initiative to encourage the development and letting of self catering accommodation in popular areas such as The Alps, they developed the leaseback concept whereby significant tax benefits are provided to purchasers of newbuild properties, in exchange for the owner committing to let out the property via a management company for a fixed period. During the guaranteed period, all bookings are handled directly by the management company, with the owner receiving a guaranteed income of generally between 4-10%.

We believe that this combination of guaranteed income and significant tax breaks offers an excellent opportunity to get into the French ski property market.
